St. Patrick's Block Party CANCELED

We are sad to share the news that the block party March 21 is canceled.

We're having a little case of deja vu having to cancel the block party again, but due to the recent news and concerns around coronavirus (COVID-19) it just isn't worth the risks. Hopefully we can reschedule at a later time down the road! Thank you for understanding and supporting our neighborly fun.

Please pass the word around. See you around the ‘hood! ❤️

How canceled events and self-quarantines save lives

Even if you’re young and healthy, it’s your job to follow social distancing measures to avoid spreading it to others, and keep the epidemic in slow motion. “The more young and healthy people are sick at the same time, the more old people will be sick, and the more pressure there will be on the health care system,” said Emily Landon, an infectious disease specialist and hospital epidemiologist at the University of Chicago Medicine.
